Q. Nick, that’s not the opening period you were looking for.

A.  No.  They came after us pretty good and we were spending way too much time in the penalty box.  We were hurting ourselves.  We have to keep moving our feet and keep our sticks down.

Q.  Are you surprised at how your team reacted in the opening period?  I know  you would have expected something like this from Phoenix.

A.  We needed to come out hard.  We wanted to respond better than we did.  One of the reasons is taking penalties.  We’re not moving our feet, we’re holding our stick up, so that’s been hurting us so far.
